estaba aquí cuando empezaron las Apariciones, igual ya llevaban quince días de
apariciones. Yo estaba en León, en la provincia de León, entre Lugo y León.
Miguel y Yo estábamos en el monte.
Serafín says:
I was not here when the Apparitions began; there had already
been fifteen days of Apparitions when I arrived. I was in the

estado conmigo en la mili,
I learned about the Apparitions for the first time in Torrelavega. When I arrived in Torrelavega, we got off at the North Station. A boy who had been in the military with me was working there.
─
“¡Hombre, Serafín! ¿Qué pasa allá por tu pueblo?”
─ “Hey! Serafín! What’s going on in your village?”
─
“¡Ah, no me digas, no sé! Hace ya dos meses que no estoy allá.”
─ “Oh, Don’t ask me, I don’t know! It’s been two months since I’ve been there.”
Bajamos
a Torrelavega y en Torrelavega entramos en una tienda donde habíamos encargado
algo de ropa de la que nos íbamos para allá, para cogerla de la que veníamos. Y
claro, en la tienda también nos conocían que éramos de aquí de Garabandal. Y
nos dicen también lo mismo. Digo, “bueno, pues no sé.”
We went down to Torrelavega and in Torrelavega we entered a store where we had ordered some clothes when we had come. We were to pick them up when we came back. Of course, those of the store also knew that we were from Garabandal. They said the same thing. I said, “Well, I don’t know.”
Cuando
vine aquí ya hacía muchos días que estaban las Apariciones y el primer día las
ví allí donde "el cuadro". Cuando yo vine ya era donde "el
cuadro". Eran últimos del todo de Junio o primeros de Julio.
When I came here, the Apparitions had already been going on for many days. The first day, I saw them at the “cuadro.” When I came it was already called “el cuadro”. Those were the last days of June and the first days of July.
El
"cuadro" es un lugar de la calleja que sube a los pinos, donde
tuvieron lugar las primeras Apariciones. Debe su nombre a que se pusieron unos
palos a modo de cuadro para proteger a las niñas.
The “cuadro” is a place in the road that leads up to the Pines; it was where the first Apparitions took place. It is called the “cuadro” (square) because they put some logs in a square shaped section to protect the girls.
Los
éxtasis eran iguales, solamente que hubo éxtasis de rodillas, hubo marchas
extáticas, las hubo de correr mucho y las había también que paraban en el mismo
sitio.
The ecstasies were the same, only that there were ecstasies on their knees, there were ecstatic marches, Some where they ran a lot and some where they remained in the same place.
Para
mí eran lo mismo al principio que al postre, solamente que hubo carreras
extáticas, muy de prisa, otras veces caminando. Al principio, las primeras
apariciones eran solamente de rodillas en un sitio pero después las hubo
también andando por el pueblo, las había marcha extática, en ocasiones de
espaldas para atrás, las había a modo de una carrera veloz que era casi
imposible seguirlas.
For me, they were the same at the beginning as they were at the end. There were ecstatic races that were very fast, and other times they walked. At the beginning, the first apparitions were only on their knees in one place, but then they began walking through the village, in ecstatic marches, sometimes backwards. They raced at such a velocity that it was almost impossible to follow them.
Una
vez iba corriendo tras de Conchita, cuando tenían las marchas extáticas a mucha
velocidad; según iba con los brazos en cruz y la cabeza así para atrás tal como
la llevaba Conchita y yo iba corriendo con la ayuda de todos los miembros de
una persona normal y por los callejos del pueblo, que hay calles que son estrechuras
y que no hay luz eléctrica, y por la noche son calles oscurísimas, entonces yo
ahí tenía que aflojar porque tenía miedo de tropezarme contra una esquina y ahí
se me largaba ella con los brazos en cruz y la cabeza así para arriba, que era
un posición imposible para caminar.
One time, I was running behind Conchita when they had ecstatic marches at great velocity; she was running with her arms in a cross and her head back, like this. Conchita was running thus and I was running with help from all of the limbs of a normal person, through the narrow streets of the village. There are streets that are very narrow and there is no electric light; at night those roads are very dark. There I had to slow down because I was afraid of tripping around a corner. It was there that she would get away from me, with her arms in a cross and her head was up like this; it was a position that made it impossible to walk.
Para
mi todas las apariciones eran importantes e impresionantes pero la que mas me
impresionó, aunque no tenga mucha importancia, fue una vez que subimos a los
pinos de noche. Éramos tres o cuatro personas, iba Conchita en éxtasis y a la
salida de los Pinos se pone de rodillas y bajó de rodillas hasta donde
empezaron las primeras apariciones. Entonces yo creí que las rodillas las iba a
tener destrozadas. Yo bajaba con linterna y veía donde iba poniendo las
rodillas y algunas veces la rodilla daba contra algún canto y tenía que
cortarse, decía para mí: “la Virgen que nos deje tranquilos que esto no se
puede aguantar, tiene que destrozar las rodillas por esas piedras, por esos
pinchos.”
For me, all of the Apparitions were important and impressive but the one that impressed me most, although it wasn’t very important, was one time when we went up to the Pines at night. There were three or four of us. Conchita was in ecstasy and when leaving the Pines she knelt and descended on her knees all the way to where the first apparitions had occurred. I thought that her knees would be destroyed. I descended with a lantern and I could see where she was landing her knees. Sometimes she hit her knee against some edge that should have cut her, I said to myself: “the Virgin has to leave us in peace, for this cannot be tolerated. The strikes against those rocks have to destroy the knees.”
Terminó
el éxtasis, voy a mirarle las rodillas y las rodillas estaban limpias, sin ningún
rasguño y entonces yo pensé para mí: “¡bueno!, aquí hay que seguir por donde
mande.” La Virgen tenía que ir poniendo las manos debajo porque si no era
imposible.
The ecstasy ended, and I looked at her knees, and they were completely unmarked, without a single bruise. I thought to myself: “Well! Here we must follow where she commands.” The Virgin must have placed her hands underneath, because if not, it was impossible.
El día
del primer Mensaje, el 18 de Octubre de 1961.
Había
montones de gente y mucha lluvia. Subimos a los Pinos y había montones de
gente, teníamos que ir luchando para que no las pisaran ya que las niñas subían
normalmente. Ellas dieron el mensaje. Don Valentín, el párroco, leyó el papel
escrito allí en los pinos. Era una noche malísima y había muchísima gente.
The day of the first Message, October 18, 1961
There were many people and it was raining a lot. We went up to the Pines and there were many people. We had to fight our way so that the girls wouldn’t be stepped on, since they went up in the normal state. They gave the message. Fr. Valentine, the pastor, read the paper there in the Pines. It was a terrible night and there were many people.
Con
los terrenos pedregosos como estaban y los caminos y callejas, yo no ví una
persona que se hiciera daño, en aquellos tiempos, con tanta gente que venía.
Fueron días además algunos malísimos, como el día del primer mensaje que fue un
día de los más malos que se puedan dar, un día de agua, tormentas y granizo.
Caía el agua a cántaros y había muchísima gente por el pueblo.
Even with the rocky terrain on the rocky paths and roads, I didn’t see anyone get hurt, even with all of the people who came. There had been some terrible weather days before, but the day of the first message was one of the worst days we could have had, with rain, storms, and hail. The rain fell by the buckets, and there were many people in the village.
En
una ocasión Conchita tenía en una rodilla un derrame. No sé como le habría
venido ese derrame y con ese derrame que tenía, la rodilla la traía con una
rodillera, caía en éxtasis con unos golpes en el suelo que debían de estropear más
la rodilla. Pero nada, la rodilla le curó del derrame.
On one occasion, Conchita’s knee had an inflammation. I don’t know how this injury came about. She had a bandage on her knee. She fell into ecstasy and hit the floor several times, which should have damaged her knee even more. But nothing happened, and her knee was cured and inflammation was healed.
Cuando
la noche de los gritos que las niñas vieron el Castigo, entonces todo el mundo
creía totalmente en las Apariciones y todos se fueron a confesar. La gente
bajaba todas las noches de las montañas, dejaban los trabajos, incluso para
rezar el Rosario en la Iglesia. Hoy ya es diferente ya no se baja tan fácil.
On the night of the screams, the girls saw the Chastisement. Everyone believed in the Apparitions then and they all went to confession. The people descended from the mountains every night and they left their chores to pray the Rosary in the Church. Now it is different, and they don’t come down so easily.
Conchita
anunció que vendría un Aviso y un Milagro. El castigo también, pero el castigo
ya viene anunciado en el primer mensaje. El mundo verá que el Aviso no es
producido por los hombres sino que, según explicaba ella, iba a ser obra
directa de Dios, para que la humanidad piense que es de Dios, para preparar a
la Humanidad para el Milagro que viene después. El Aviso es para el mundo
entero según ella explicó, todo el mundo le sentirá. El mundo sentirá terror y
pánico pero que no pasará nada por causa del Aviso. Es intervención directa de
Dios.
Conchita announced that a Warning and a Miracle would come. The Chastisement also, but the Chastisement was already announced in the first message. The world will see that the Warning is not produced by men, but will be directly from God, so that all of humanity will think that it is from God. This will be to prepare all of humanity for the Miracle that will come afterwards. The Warning is for the world, according to how the Virgin explained it; the entire world will feel it. The world will feel terror and panic, but nothing will happen as a result of the Warning. It will be direct intervention from God.
¿Qué
intervalos de tiempo hay?, no lo sé. A mi me dijo Conchita que el Milagro iba a
ser después de un acontecimiento eclesiástico, me dijo en qué iba a consistir
el Milagro, incluso lo tengo escrito en una estampa besada por la Virgen, es
una estampuca pequeña y lo tengo escrito. Yo no sé la fecha. La fecha del
Milagro no sé nada. Según ella me dijo va a ser después de un acontecimiento
eclesiástico. Ella es diferente, creo que ella sabe la fecha exacta del
Milagro, pero yo no lo sé, a mi no me lo dijo. Mi madre creo que sepa igual que
yo.
What intervals of time are there? I don’t know. Conchita told me that the Miracle will happen after an ecclesiastical event. She told me what the Miracle will consist of; I have it written on a holy card that was kissed by the Virgin. It is a small holy card, and I have it written there. I don’t know the date. No one knows the date of the Miracle. According to what she told me, it will be after an ecclesiastical event. Conchita is different; I think she knows the exact date of the Miracle, but I don’t know it, she didn’t tell me. I think my mother knows the same thing as I do.
Este
acontecimiento eclesiástico que sucede un tiempo antes del milagro es distinto
del acontecimiento, importante para la Iglesia, que coincidirá con el día del
Milagro.
This ecclesiastical event that will happen before the Miracle is an unusual event, important for the Church, and it will coincide with the day of the Miracle.
Yo,
depende de los años que pueda tardar en llegar el acontecimiento eclesiástico,
si el acontecimiento se dá en lo que yo viva, entonces ya sé que viene el
Milagro. Hasta ahora se ha cumplido todo lo que la Virgen les dijo, para mí al
pié de la letra. Tal como Conchita lo anunció tiene que suceder en vida de
Conchita, ya que dijo "yo anunciaré el Milagro ocho días antes, esté donde
esté", no dijo que estaría en Garabandal. Anunció también que Joey
Lomangino, que estaba ciego, recobraría la vista el día del Milagro.
For me, depending on the number of years it might take for this ecclesiastical event to arrive. If I am still living, then I’ll know that the Miracle is coming. Until now, everything that the Virgin said would happen has been fulfilled, down to the very letter. Conchita announced that it would happen in her lifetime since she said “I will announce the Miracle eight days before, no matter where I am,” I don’t think she will necessarily be in Garabandal. She also announced that Joey Lomangino, who is blind, will recover his sight on the day of the Miracle.
En
alguna fotografía estoy pegado a ella mirando a ver como la protegía pero yo
estaba agachado, no se me vé entre tanta gente. El día del segundo mensaje,
Conchita dió el Cristo a besar a dos o tres personas, creo que a un padre
francés, el Padre Pell, y si que dió a besar el Cristo a otros dos señores
franceses.
In one photograph, I am right next to her, trying to see how I can protect her. But I was bent down; I cannot be seen among so many people. The day of the second message, Conchita gave the cross for two or three people to kiss. I think it was a French priest, Fr. Pell, and two French men.
Yo
creo que al principio de las Apariciones creyeron todos y bastante tiempo. Ya
luego empezaron a venir gente dando opiniones y la gente empezaba a dudar. Todo
ello estaba previsto ya que cuando estaban firmes, creyendo en todo, la Virgen
les dijo que llegarían tiempos en que ellas mismas lo dudarían y que se
contradirían. Llegaron esos tiempos de que ellas dudaron.
I think that at the beginning of the Apparitions everyone believed and there was enough time. Then people began to come and gave their own opinions, and the people began to doubt. All of this was foreseen, since when they still believed in everything, the Virgin foretold the girls that there would arrive a time when they themselves would doubt everything and contradict each other. That time arrived when they doubted.
Cuando
las dudas, se aprovecharon otros de las dudas que tenían ellas para negarlo
todo. En Pamplona estuvieron hablando con Conchita cuatro o cinco sacerdotes,
el Obispo con ellos, en aquella circunstancia de dudas y negaciones. Pero lo
del Milagro todo se le olvidó, incluso la fecha, justo hasta después de terminar
la entrevista. Al parecer si iba un señor con buenos datos a favor de
Garabandal al Obispado pues más bien no lo admitían. Más bien trataban de
admitir aquella parte negativa. Ella dijo que el Obispo de Santander, antes del
Milagro, tendrá una señal o aviso por la que sabrá que esto es verdad.
When they had doubts, people took advantage of the doubts
the girls had to negate the whole thing. In
Una
noche salimos mi madre y yo con ella. Estaba la noche de tormenta, de truenos,
de granizos y Conchita en éxtasis, los granizos a los ojos y no le estropeaban
la vista, con la cabeza mirando a lo alto y por lo mínimo mientras que rezó un
rosario, que eran rosarios larguísimos, de la forma que rezaban despacio,
pensando cada palabra; tardaban bastante en acabar un Rosario.
One night, my mother and I went out with her. It was a night of storms, of thunder, and of hail. Conchita was in ecstasy, and the hail did not impede her vision. Her head was up and while she prayed a Rosary, a very long Rosary, which she prayed very slowly, meditating on each word. It took a very long time for the Rosary to end.
Salían
en éxtasis, en las carreras extáticas a toda marcha, a toda velocidad, ellas
sin ningún miembro del cuerpo a favor para correr, puesto que de la postura que
llevaban la cabeza, con los brazos en cruz ya no tienen ningún miembro a favor,
solamente las piernas.
They would go out in ecstasy, in the ecstatic races at full march, at full velocity. No part of their bodies was in a good position for running, from the way they carried their heads with their arms in a cross—nothing was positioned correctly for running, only their legs.
Yo
yendo detrás, un mozo que tendría entonces 27 o 28 años y ella doce o trece,
pues yo corría la mitad mas que ella en estado normal. Y en éxtasis, en esas
carreras extáticas a esa velocidad, pasando por calles oscuras, yo tenía que
aguantar y quedarme un poco atrás por miedo de pegar contra una pared, entonces
ella se me largaba. Yo volvía otra vez a la luz, volvía a correr y la volvía a
coger. Terminaba con una sudada y ella perfectamente, fresca, como si
había salido del río. Alguien las ayudaba y a los demás no nos ayudaba nadie.
I went behind, a grown man of 27 or 28 years old, and she was only twelve or thirteen; I ran twice as fast as she did in the normal state. But in the ecstasy, in these ecstatic races and at this speed, passing through dark streets, I had to slow down and stay a little behind because I was afraid of hitting a wall; it was then that she would get away from me. I’d return to the light again and catch up with her again. I would finish sweating and she was perfectly fresh and cool, as though she had just come out from the river. Someone helped the girls, but no one helped the rest of us.
La
primera vez que yo ví a Conchita en carrera extática, cuando terminó el éxtasis
decía que era una felicidad, que iba como volando, y ¡la paliza que yo traía
encima!
The first time I saw Conchita in an ecstatic race, when she finished the ecstasy, she said that she was happy, that she was like flying, and I was beat!
Todo
lo que hizo la Virgen en Garabandal lo hizo bien, como siempre lo hace, es
decir había un motivo exacto para cada cosa. Uno se podría preguntar el motivo
de tales carreras extáticas pero para ello había que ver todas las
circunstancias y lo que la Virgen les decía a las niñas. Véase a modo de
ejemplo el caso del deportista que por esa carrera creyó, y el que cuenta
Avelina:
Everything that the Virgin of Garabandal did, she did very well, as she always does. There was an exact motive for each thing. One might ask about the motive of those ecstatic marches, but one would have to see the circumstances and what the Virgin was telling the girls. An example of this is the case the athlete that during this race believed, and that which Avelina tells:
─
Usted se queda madre con la niña, que hay mucha gente.
─ You stay with the little girl, mother, since there are many people.
Nos
quedamos la abuela de la niñuca y yo. Y digo: vamos a rezar un Rosario. Cuando
ya habíamos terminado de rezar el Rosario oí algo de ruido porque la gente
estaba en los Pinos que era allí el Mensaje en los Pinos. Oimos tocar las
palmas a la niñuca.
The child’s grandmother and I stayed. I said: “We are going to pray a Rosary.” When we had finished praying the Rosary, I heard a noise because the people were in the Pines, since there was going to be a Message in the Pines. We heard applause from the little girl.
─
¿Pues, cómo toca las palmas la criuca?, ¿qué verá, qué oirá?
─ “How come the child is applauding? What does she see, what could she be hearing?”
Salgo
al balcón y veo las cuatro niñas en éxtasis mirando para el balcón, solucas.
I went out to the balcony and I saw the four girls in ecstasy, looking at the balcony, alone.
─¡Ay
madre! digo yo a la abuela, las cuatro niñas en éxtasis, mirando así, con las
manucas así.
─ “Oh, mother! I said to the grandmother, the four girls are in ecstasy, looking like this with their hands like this.”
En
esto llega Ceferino el primero, cansadísimo de correr, ya que las niñas
vinieron tan rápido que la gente no daba para correr y alcanzarlas.
A that point Ceferino arrived, very tired from running because the girls had come so quickly that the people could not run and catch up with them.
Es
claro, en este caso, que la Virgen quiso venir donde la niña, a solas con las
niñas videntes, y premiar así la conducta de la abuela y de Avelina, que se
quedaron en casa cuidando a la niña. Se puede leer en el capítulo 18.
It is clear in this case, that the Virgin wanted to come where the little girl was, alone with the child seers, to reward the conduct of the grandmother and Avelina, who had stayed in the house and looking after the child. You can read about this in Chapter 18.
El
caso del deportista fue así, se puede leer este relato en el capítulo 22.
The case of the athlete was like this; you can read this story in Chapter 22.

En una ocasión llegó un muchacho muy buen deportista que decía: “A mí nadie me
gana a correr. Ninguna niña ni nadie me gana a mí.” En esto una de las niñas
tuvo éxtasis y sale corriendo y el muchacho corría a todo cuanto daba de sí al
par de ella. Era claro que la Virgen no quería ganarle la carrera pero en esto
que la niña corre a toda velocidad derecha hacia una pared de una casa y el
muchacho pensó: si esto no es de Dios, esta niña se mata contra la pared. El
muchacho tuvo que frenar a tiempo pero la niña siguió sin frenar hasta la pared
y allí paró al instante. Y decía a la Virgen: ¡Ah, es para que crea...!. El
muchacho lo oyó y creyó ya que humanamente no era posible hacer aquello de
parar al instante viniendo a tal velocidad.
─ “On one occasion, a boy who was a good athlete arrived and said: “No one can beat me in a race. No girl can beat me.” One of the girls had an ecstasy and left running and this boy ran after her. It was clear that the Virgin did not aim to outrun him in the race but at this point the girl ran at such a speed right toward the wall of a house that the boy thought: “if this is not from God, this girl will kill herself on the wall.” The boy had to stop in time, but the girl continued without stopping until she reached the wall, and then she stopped in an instant. She said to the Virgin: “Oh, it is so he will believe…! The boy heard this and believed since it was not humanly possible to stop in an instant at that speed.”
Por
regla general, en casa, yo no le preguntaba sobre los éxtasis, la gente sí,
pero yo por regla general no. ¿Qué viste?, cuéntame esto o aquello, ¿qué
te dijo la Virgen? No, yo no le preguntaba.
As a general rule, I did not ask about the ecstasies in the house. Other people did, but as a rule, I did not. “What did you see? Tell me this or that, what did the Virgin tell you?” No, I didn’t ask.
El
pueblo no ha respondido a los mensajes, al contrario. Exteriormente al
contrario. Interiormente cada persona no se puede saber. Ahora que
exteriormente los Mensajes quizás se cumplía mas antes de las Apariciones que
hoy.
The village has not responded to the messages, on the contrary. Exteriorly, on the contrary, interiorly, we cannot know about each person. Now exteriorly, the Messages were lived out more before the Apparitions than they are today.
Yo
creo que sí, que va a ocurrir el Milagro. Seguro que se tiene que realizar. Fui
estudiando para mí toda la reacción de Conchita en casa sin preguntarle nada.
Veía que no era de ella ni era ninguna enfermedad tampoco porque ya lo
descartaban los médicos. Entonces de ella no era, era imposible, ella no podía
desarrollar aquello. Sé la inteligencia que ella tenía, más o menos en aquellos
tiempos de cría y lo iba estudiando para mí.
I believe that the Miracle is going to occur. I am sure that it is going to happen. I was studying Conchita’s reaction in the house without asking anything myself. I saw that she had no sickness because the doctors had already ruled it out. It could not come from her, it was impossible. She could not develop all that. I know what her intelligence was at the time, and I had studied her.
Venía
alguna gente que decía se puede dar esta enfermedad o bien puede ser esto,
puede ser lo otro. Pero yo, pensando en todo ello, iba viendo que era cosa de
Dios todo. Me iba guiando de lo que iba viendo de lo que yo iba oyendo y como
se iba desarrollando todo. Hacía caso de lo que decían, puede ser esto o lo
otro, puede ser enfermedad, iba observando todas las opciones de unos y de
otros y con el tiempo me daba cuenta que estaban equivocados ya que yo veía mas
bien que todo era de Dios. Para mí, pensaba: es Obra de Dios. Yo creo en Dios.
La Virgen se puede manifestar a cualquier hora, para mí fue así y así lo creo.
Some people came who said that she could be sick, or it could be this, or that. I thought about all of this, but I saw that it was from God. I was guided to see that I heard how everything unraveled. It could be this or that, I was listening to all that they were saying, “it this or that, it could be sickness;” I observed all of the options and I realized that they were mistaken and I could see better than ever that everything was from God. I thought: “It is the Work of God. I believe in God.” The Virgin can show herself any time, but for me it was like this, and that is what I believe.
Creo
que la mayoría de la gente en el pueblo no cree que venga un milagro, creo que
no. No puedes saber el interior de cada persona, pero en general no creen que
el milagro puede venir, pero la mayoría piensa que no fueron ellas las que
hicieron esto, sino más bien que fue Dios y la Virgen.
I believe that the majority of people in the village do not believe that the Miracle will come. You cannot know what is going on inside each person, but in general they do not believe that the Miracle will come. But the majority of people think that it wasn’t the girls who did this, but that it was God and the Virgin.
En
aquellos tiempos, cuando las Apariciones, sí que creía la gente. Cuando el Milagro
de la Comunión visible yo creo que sí se creía, por entonces sí. Muchas
personas que vinieron entonces sí que creían totalmente que era cosa de Dios.
At that time, during the apparitions, the people believed. When the Miracle of the visible Communion happened, I believed that they did believe because of it. Many people who came then believed that it was from God.
Los
Sacerdotes, muchos creen pero otros muchos no. El Obispado ha trabajado más
bien en que esto no es nada. Todo ello dió lugar a que muchos no crean que el
milagro se va a realizar. Hay que pensar que aquello fue obra de Dios y que el
Milagro va a venir tal como se ha anunciado.
The priests, many believed but others didn’t. The Bishopric has worked more in proving that this is nothing. All that caused that many people no longer believe that the miracle is going to happen. You have to think that it was a work of God and that the Miracle is going to come as it was announced.
Entonces

aquello que la Iglesia nos ha enseñado: visitar al Santísimo, ser buenos, hacer
sacrificios, pensar en la Pasión del Señor.
In those days the people used to believe in what the Church always taught us and the Messages are to confirm what the Church has taught us: to visit the Blessed Sacrament, make sacrifices, and meditate on the Passion of the Lord.

recuerdo que cuando iban al cementerio y la puerta estaba cerrada, metían la
Cruz por entre las rejas de la puerta dando a besar la Cruz. Cuando empezaron a
venir los coches también les hacían con el Crucifijo la Señal de la Cruz.
I remember that when they went to the cemetery and the door was closed, they would make the sign of the cross between the bars of the door and gave the Cross to be kissed. When the cars began to come, they also would also make the Sign of the Cross over them with the Crucifix.
Antes
de las Apariciones, la gente que estaba por los invernales, la mayoría hacía un
poco de esfuerzo por ir a Misa. Hoy ya no, es decir si hay que perder la Misa
se pierde y si hay que salir para arriba a los montes al tiempo de ir a Misa se
sale. Hoy la gente está mas fría en la religión que antes de las Apariciones.
Durante las Apariciones hubo gente que no iba a Misa y volvió a ir a Misa.
Before the Apparitions, the majority of people who were in

Virgen les dijo que vendría un Aviso para purificar a la humanidad para recibir
el Milagro. El mundo lleva una dirección de vida bastante regular. Mucha gente
cambiará para bien pero ¿cómo se cambia todo el mundo? Por todos los Mensajes y
por el Milagro, tal como se ha anunciado todo, es porque son tiempos muy
difíciles y que por eso Dios manda un Aviso y un Milagro para que el mundo
cambie.
The Virgin told them that a Warning would come to purify humanity to receive the Miracle. The world has a pretty regular direction of life. Many people will change for the better, but how can the whole world change? Through all of the Messages and through the Miracle, as it was announced, because these are difficult times and because of that, God sends a Warning and a Miracle so that the world will change.
En
las Apariciones habría que saber todo lo que decían y lo que la Virgen les
explicaba ya que muchas veces oías solamente algunas palabras y solamente si
ellas lo explicaban se sabía lo que la Virgen les decía.
In the Apparitions, one would have to know all of what was said and what the Virgin explained to them. Many times you could hear only a few words, and only if the girls explain it, then we could know what the Virgin had told them.
Los
Rosarios eran lentos, para meditar el Rosario palabra por palabra, pues en otra
forma rápida de rezar no puedes meditar lo que rezas. De la forma que rezaban
ellas había mucho lugar a pensar lo que estábamos rezando. Cuando rezaba el
Rosario, la marcha era lenta, normal, y todos las podían seguir bien.
The Rosaries were said slowly, to meditate the Rosary word by word. If you pray it quickly then you cannot meditate on what you pray. In the way they prayed it, there is a lot of space for us to think about what we are praying. When they pray the Rosary, their march is slow, normal, and everyone can follow them well.

gustaría vivir ahora otra vez aquello, volver a vivir todo aquello. Pensándolo
bien era una maravilla.
I would love to live all that all over again, to return to live all of it. When you think about it, it was all a marvel.

Hay
que hacer muchos sacrificios, mucha penitencia. Visitar al Santísimo. Pero
antes tenemos que ser muy buenos. Si no lo hacemos nos vendrá un castigo. Ya se
está llenando la copa y si no cambiamos, nos vendrá un castigo muy grande.
It is necessary to make many sacrifices, to do much penance, to visit the Blessed Sacrament. But before this, we have to be very good. If we don’t this, then a chastisement will come. The cup is already filling up, and if We don’t change, a very great chastisement will come to us.”

Virgen dijo "Me da mucha pena decíroslo yo, pero os lo tengo que decir
para vuestro bien", por esta causa fue el Arcángel San Miguel quien lo
dijo a Conchita en la tarde del día 18 de Junio de 1965.

June 18, 1965
The Virgin said: “It causes me great pain to say this, but I have to tell you for your own good.” As a result of this, it was the Archangel St. Michael who said this to Conchita on the evening of June 18, 1965.
El
mensaje que la Santísima Virgen ha dado al mundo por la intercesión de San
Miguel. El Ángel ha dicho:
The message that the Most Holy Virgin has given to the world through the intercession of St. Michael, The Angel, has said:
Como
no se ha cumplido y no se ha dado mucho a conocer mi mensaje del 18 de Octubre,
os diré que este es el último.
“Since my message has not been fulfilled and my message of October 18 has not been made known, I will tell you that this is the last one.”
Antes
la copa se estaba llenando, ahora está rebosando. Los Sacerdotes, Obispos y
Cardenales van muchos por el camino de la perdición y con ellos llevan a muchas
mas almas.
“Before the cup was filling up, now it is overflowing. Many Priests, Bishops, and Cardinals are on the road to perdition and they are taking many more souls with them.”
La
Eucaristía cada vez se le dá menos importancia. Debéis evitar la ira del Buen
Dios sobre vosotros con vuestros esfuerzos. Si le pedís perdón con alma sincera
El os perdonará.
“The Eucharist is given less and less importance. You should avoid the wrath of the Good God with all of your efforts. If you ask for forgiveness with sincere souls, He will pardon you.”

vuestra Madre, por intercesión del Ángel San Miguel, os quiero decir que os
enmendéis. Ya estáis en los últimos avisos. Os quiero mucho y no quiero vuestra
condenación. Pedidnos sinceramente y nosotros os lo daremos. Debéis
sacrificaros más, pensad en la Pasión de Jesús.
“I, your Mother, through the intercession of the Angel St. Michael, want to tell you to amend your lives. You are already in the last warnings. I love you very much and I don’t want your condemnation. Ask forgiveness sincerely and we will give it to you. You should sacrifice more, and meditate on the Passion of Jesus.”
